Pour a 1"layer of Silica Gel into an airtight container which is large enough to hold your flowers - allow 1" either side.
Cut your flowers, leaving 1/2" of stem. Insert the flowers, stem first, so that the bottom of the flower is resting on the crystals.
Slowly pour the crystals around the edges of the flowers, ensuring that the crystals completely cover the flowers to about 1" deep and leave for 2 - 4 days.
You can also use a microwave - place a glass of water next to the covered flowers and heat on high for 30 - 60 seconds at a time until the glass of water boils.
Silica Gel can be reused - once the blue crystals turn pink, spread the crystals out in a flat baking dish and cook for 275F for about 1 hour or until the blue reappears. If microwaving, heat as above.
Some flowers will need the stems dried longer than the petals - shake the crystals from the petals and insert the stem for another day or so.
If drying sprays, pull it apart and dry as separate flowers then reassemble.
Dried flowers can be sprayed with an acrylic sealer to make them more durable.
